ロレーヌさんにお目にかかりました

パリジェンヌが送るパリのホット情報を執筆しているロレーヌさんにお目にかかりました。
日本が大好きで、もう６回も日本に来ているそうです。今回は５週間の日本旅行中。
「へー、５週間も！」と驚いたら、
「フランス人は怠け者ですからたくさん休むんです。」と達者な日本語が返ってきました。パリジェンヌが送るパリのホット情報より
最近は、日本に「フランスのＯＴＡＫＵが多くて困る」そうです。
「フランスでモテない連中が、日本に来てモテようとしてる」というのがロレーヌさんの見方。
「彼らの頭の中には、マンガとアニメのことしかない」から、フランス語を耳にすると「無視する」のだとか。
日本とフランスで「すごく違うと感じること」も聞きました。
たとえば、ゴスロリファッション。
日本では街中でも見かけますが、フランスでそんな格好をして街中を歩いていると、「本当に危ない」目に遭うことがあるそうです。
だから、ジャパンエキスポは、ゴスロリもコスプレも安心して楽しめる、貴重な場所なんですね。
みんなが、あんなに嬉しそうに｢変装」していた理由がわかってきました。
ロレーヌさん、「日本」を目いっぱい楽しんでいってください。
I met Laurene Oudart, who writes Apalog’s "Hot News from a Parisienne," for the first time.
She loves Japan, and has already visited six times, one of which was a five-week stay.
"Five weeks?" I asked.
"The French get away a lot because they are lazier," she returned in fluent Japanese.
She said, "Japan has a lot of otaku from France, which is becoming a problem these days."
Laurene explained, "Guys who aren’t popular with women in France come to Japan looking for a girlfriend."
Unfortunately, they have images of Japan from comics and anime in their heads. This is why, if she hears people speaking French in Japan, she ignores them.
She also said that Japan differs from France very much; an example of this is seen in Gothic & Lolita fashion.
In Japan, Gothic & Lolita fashion can be seen in urban areas, but it would be very dangerous if people who are into this special fashion wore the clothes in city areas of France.
The Japan Expo in Paris, where those who are into Gothloli or cosplay can enjoy their passions in comfort, is therefore a precious place.
Now I understand why participants dress up so joyfully.
Laurene, I hope you enjoy Japan to its fullest.
